Educational Programs at Universal Orlando Resort™

Universal Studies

Our immersive, experiential programs take national education standards in new directions, creating unique learning environments they’ll never forget – and lessons that last a lifetime.

Business Learning Series
Presented by CNBC's The Profit

Our enhanced curriculum of engaging, expert-led modules (which can be taken alone or as a series) offer an introduction to leadership in the workplace. Students receive real world advice on topics from career exploration to business development.

It Starts with a Hero

Created in partnership with Full Sail University, this program uses language arts to explore the story of the hero's journey, and visual arts to recreate the student's heroes in the four different hero archetypes.

Food For Thought
A Taste of Careers in the Culinary Arts

Designed by Universal Orlando Resort™'s executive chef team, students explore their own culinary creativity as they learn about food career paths and the flow of food in a food service setting using a ServSafe curriculum.

NEW - Marketing is Universal
Keeping the Guest at Heart

Students learn the significance of staying true to brand values and keeping the guest at the center of decision-making with real-world examples of our very own dynamic marketing strategies.

STARS Performance Programs

Our performance programs help students in band, orchestra, choir, dance and other groups practice teamwork, refine their showmanship skills, and get a taste of the spotlight.

Marching Performances

Students can hone their performance skills at Universal Studios Florida™, Universal's Superstar Pre-Parade, or - during select days in December - the Holiday parade.

Stage Performances

Moving off the street and onto the stage, we offer students exciting opportunities to perform right in our resort - in front of a live audience at Universal CityWalk™.

Our high-engagement, hands-on workshops are in line with National Core Arts Standards and feature industry insiders who will share invaluable wisdom with your group.

Sound Design
Music and the Art of Foley

Designed by Robert W. Smith, students will sync music, choral arrangements, Foley, and digital sound effects to real movie scenes from hits like Illumination Entertainment's Despicable Me and The Lorax.

A Workshop with the Professionals

Our very own choreographers and performers help teach aspiring dancers original choreography performed in our parks, plus offer great tips for polishing resumes, preparing headshots, and acing auditions.
